Birds Nesting


The peregrine falcons which have nested on Derby Cathedral for some years now, are back in town.
Hardly "nesting" as such, since all they do is to scratch over the gravel in the tray which sits 200 feet up above the streets of Derby.

Usually they lay the first eggs by the end of March and the nest-side web cameras make compulsive viewing.
