The planning application to re-build Burnaston House in a field adjacent to NCN R54 at Bearwardcote was rejected by a narrow margin of 7 votes to 6 at the South Derbyshire Planning Committe meeting last night.
There had been much local opposition to the proposal.
No doubt there will be an appeal.
