Keith, Jeff, Stuart and myself met at Shipley Country Park Visitor’s Center on Wednesday morning to do some provisional work on the Nutbrook Trail. We collected several bags of litter and trimmed some branches of trees, undergrowth and nettles between the start of the trail at Thorpe Rd, Heanor and the access point from Buxton Avenue, Marlpool. As this is not even one mile, there is plenty of trail left to work on! After our work, we went to the Bell, Smalley for a brief meeting, a drink and a snack.
We aim to go back roughly at fornightly intervals, on Tuesdays. Next meeting 14 Oct 2008 10:00 Buxton Ave access point, Marlpool. Everybody welcome!
