Goats on Stanley section of The Great Northern Railway.

During an assessment for a future walk in the Stanley area I came across this notice on a gate in Stanley village. This kind of activity should help to keep the old trackway clearer for the 'eventual' extension of the Greenway to Stanley and beyond, but don't hold your breathe!

I wonder if the goats will stay behind the fencing - they are great escapists.
And goats love eating cake (plus anything else), so best bring plenty Mavis.
