Superb weather today for our workday, tidying up tree stumps after the onslaught by the Payback Teams.
A clear blue sky, lots of blossom appearing and many people on the path at Etwall. Walkers, cyclists and horse riders, all making the best of the glorious Spring weather.
Here's the blossom, just a small part of it.
And here are the workers having a well earned rest, enjoying coffee and biscuits provided by you know who, Mavis Ratcliffe, who.also took the photograph. No sign of the coffee or the biscuits in the picture as by then they were all gone.
Whilst (below) Mavis talks to a lady on a horse. Or perhaps she was talking to the horse.

Sorry I was absent. As it was such a good day, I decided to take my Brompton for its first train ride, to Uttoxeter, while there is still half fare on the Gold Card (decision this week). When I arrived at the work site (13.00) you had all gone.
Still, the entrance to the trail opposite Birch Trees Farm has been freshly surfaced and the winding path with 'water feature' near Etwall was being tidied up on Tuesday.

Lovely photograph and fantastic weather for March. A pleasure to be out there.
