Get down to your local Lidl on Monday 14th March for low cost cycling accessories.
Here is a picture of me modelling some of the clothing range with a certain young lady of my acquaintance.
(No comments please).
See details of the goods (but not the young lady) via the link alongside.
PS
I have been advised that the prices quoted on the link are in euros so will attempt to correct that.
Also I have been asked what re-juvenating potion I am on.
Well, it is called "Marston's Pedigree" and it is obtainable at all good off-licences. It doesn't actually make you look like this, but it makes you think you do.
PPS There we are then, prices now in pounds.

When you stated "It doesn't actually make you look like this, but it makes you think you do"
Is that not halucinating, the same as on some drugs?

Yes.
Thanks Les,
I bought a pair of shoes, some socks and half a dozen bottles of Pedigree.

Thanks, Les. I bought two lighting sets, two computers, two pairs of gloves and a helmet but they'd sold out of Pedigree at Langley Mill! The lighting sets are particularly good value: they include 5 rechargeable AA batteries and a charger, and two AAA batteries - and the lights - all for ten quid. Surely, it's worth it just for the batteries! The cycle computers seem to have changed design a little since I last bought some, but the spec is the same; I have 2 in use already. They boast 30 functions but that's because you can set them up for 2 bikes with different wheel circumferences - but they don't give you 2 separate brackets! For £4 they are brilliant value. The only cycle computers I have seen with a light and thermometer!
I think that we should offer a prize for anyone who can suggest thirty functions for a cycle computer.
And another prize for anyone who can set them all up.
