Problem at Breadsall

There is a problem at the top of Brookside Road where it meets the A608 and impatient car drivers are making a rat run of the cycle path opposite the Sixoate Gate.

They are driving along this section of the cycle path to bypass the queue waiting at the Give Way sign to cross/access the A608. What a pity that the JCB excavator in this photograph is not still there.
Derbyshire County Council are aware of the problem, and will be putting in some posts to curtail this activity.
