Park Bikeworks

Derby's long awaited bike hub opens on Saturday 14th June and will provide first class facilities for local cyclists in the city centre.
It stands on Full Street between the Cathedral and the recently fire damaged Assembly Rooms car park, and may be approached from the Market Place by way of the newly constructed cycle path, from Queen Street, or by crossing Cathedral Green from the Riverside Path.

There is free secure parking for bicycles, lockers (£1  per day), a beautiful café, a cycle shop with mechanic, showers (charge), toilets and even a physiotherapist.

For those unfamiliar with Derby's streets, the Cathedral is a good pointer with it's 212 feet high tower, visible from miles away.

The entrance is by way of the large door on the left of the frontage, above which is a veranda accessed from the café.

The barriers will  be removed before the opening day, and the tarmac path completed.

Brilliant!  See you there.
