Trouble with Flags

The Union Jack is not only under threat from the Scottish Nationalists who want to remove the blue and white St. Andrews cross from it, but also from the recent gale force winds which have removed  the right hand side of our own flag marking the start of the Mickleover Greenway.

Presumably the missing part of our flag has been dispersed somewhere over Mackworth or Allestree.
Anyway, what's left of it looks pretty clean after being thoroughly washed by the torrential rain.

Might be worth a call to the fire brigade again Les.

Or then again, the operating cord looks OK. Could be changed for a Red Ensign!

Flag may soon be defunct and a redesign with a welsh twist is called for
