A White Knuckle Ride

Cycling the 5 miles of the Mickleover Greenway from Egginton Junction Bridge to Mickleover Station would, for most of us, be a fairly relaxed affair and as a video, rather boring to watch.
So, take a look at the ride shown at 4 times actual cycling speed, and you can visualise what it would be like to be a much faster cyclist than you actually are.  Unless, that is, that you are Sir Bradley Wiggins or Mark Cavendish.
Come to think of it, I haven't seen Brad or Mark down on the Greenway for a while.  I expect that they are busy elsewhere.

I've heard several reports of "furious cycling". Now I know who is responsible, or not.

That is amazing and scattered all the dog walkers especially at the Mickleover end. Interesting to see how much wetter the track is at the Egginton end.

Great video, Les! I particularly liked your negotiation of the gates and the absence of splashing as you rode through the puddles at high speed! I was reminded also of the film of the London to Brighton train journey in 3 minutes the BBC used to show on the telly many years ago.
