Route 549 Closure at Scropton
The Sudbury road out of Scropton village has been closed during the construction of flood defences which (like those at Egginton), has involved the construction of new culverts and the raising of road surface levels. This road forms part of NCN Route 549, the Dove Valley Route, between Hilton and Uttoxeter.
New tarmac is to be laid next Thursday and the road re-opened on Monday 9th September.
