Velodrome - Latest News

Now that work on the foundations is done, the erection of the steelwork has begun and we can see  more of the building's shape and it's situation.  This giant Meccano set is being made off site and bolted together at Pride Park.

Here we can see the proximity of the new building to the Derby County Pride Park Stadium (left).

This is a view from the other side i.e. with the existing Nature Reserve behind the chain link fencing on the left, and Pride Park Stadium (out of shot to the right).  This will be the approach from the Riverside Path (I think).  Note integral staircase (to nowhere) on left.
