Good news is not easy to come by these days, but at last materials have arrived at Mickleover for the repair of the flood damaged path. An amazing coincidence, no more, but within hours of my latest whingeing Email to Derbyshire County Council.

Nick Potter watches the final lorryload of Toptrek being reversed onto the storage site at Mickleover Station. |

And there she goes................... another lorryload, making a total of 150 tonnes. |
We now await arrival of the hired machinery which will lay and roll the new surface. Hopefully the job will be completed before Christmas.
