Route 54 Path Repairs
Further to the delivery on Friday of a large quantity of Toptrek with which Derbyshire County Council are to repair the flood damaged surface of the path, today saw delivery of the necessary machinery required.

A wonderful sight. Is the A38 they are repairing or merely R54! Horses could be useful too with the Anvil Hire.
Work started today (18th) and expected to be finished on the 19th. Already had some grumbles - "next time it rains, the water will rise a lot faster" I don't think so, the days of well drained ballast are long gone!
