Giant Crib at Local Farm

Visitors to Happy Hens Farm at Etwall are greeted by this gigantic crib made of straw bales.
Joseph (left) appears to have all his faculties, but sadly Mary's nose and her left eye have been blown away in the strong wind.
Of the baby Jesus there was no sign, although his cot was full of clean straw.
I had forgotten to take any gold, and did not know where to obtain either frankincense or myhrr, but later discovered that you can buy both these items on the Internet.



Anyway, Joseph and  Mary kept an eye (just the one) on my bike whilst I was in the shop buying a dozen eggs.
