The River Derwent

Since both NCN Routes 6 and 54 run alongside the river, there will, inevitably, be a knock-on effect, but hopefully that will be in the form of improvements, since the Riverside Paths are both well established and well used by both commuters and recreational cyclists.

An interesting document that will take some time to study. Good photos of the proposals. Hopefully it will all be to the good.

The proposed walking/cycling route between Castleward and Bass Rec. is worth investigating.
