Not really a subject for such a Blog as this, but when out cycling it is important to know the whereabouts of the local toilets. Supermarkets usually of have toilets of a fairly high standard, but generally they are out of town, and it is not so easy to find them in city centres, where you have to rely on those provided by the local authority, some of which, here in Derby, have been permanently closed in recent years.
Two popular ones which remain are in Victoria Street and at the Assembly Rooms.
Last week, both of them were closed and the Council notice at the latter is worthy of inclusion in our series of unusual signs for it's unconscious humour.

Must be due to a busted flush.
