Long Horse Bridge walk 24th Nov 2011

Our group approached from a footpath which appeared to have been used by contractors and was 'littered' with cars, presumably belonging to fishermen, although I noted one that had camera tripods etc inside.
This shot clearly indicates the proximity of the cycle way and the original towpath. The access at the Shardlow end was impeded by a wire mesh contractors fence, but good access was possible through a car park at this point, and was being used by cyclists and walkers.
This concrete work is one of the original bridge supports.
