over the bridge from River Gardens to the Telegraph offices by a rope stretched tightly across it.
The litter pick went OK. A very light load for a change, but a prolific amount of dog poo at the Paddock end
as usual. The fly tipping at the Windmill bridleway has been cleared. No further graffiti or vandalism except
for the removal of one of Ian’s BBQ posters at the level crossing gates. I was unable to replace it at the time due
to lack of hammer and nails. As time permits, I will do the job later. Some dog poo* signs at
the Station Road access caught my eye! All the seats could do with a lick of paint, other wise OK. No sign of the
anti graffiti squad as yet and no metal bars at the level crossing site where the wooden bars have been removed twice.
The lock and chain to the farmer’s field adjacent to Croft Wood was missing. Our key did not fit the one that was there
anyway. The strange additional lock on the Station Road gate is still there and could gives us access problems at
the BBQ if we cannot open the gate.
