Greenway fables

Having heard about Mavis and her legendary cakes, It seems Tony Ambrose takes a chance with a proposal of marriage. But with twelve other admirers present, Mavis could not be tempted even by a promise of a ride on his Birdy.

Fortunately, the Rangers had clubbed together to buy her this fine example of a computer controlled bike - which turned out to be a mixed blessing as it cut out at every pub and teashop along the route.

It was a productive meeting though and Tony has promised that this bridge:

Will be rebuilt across the river to complete the cycle path at Egginton.

Also, Martin will be pleased to know that a plentiful supply of the magic Mushroom has been found behind the first seat, and they were added to the cakes at the Brunswick. Any suggestion that I am still suffering from the effects is quite true.

Mavis could ask that next time you bake more cakes to pass onto us via Tony for Rangers over here in Grantham. Or did you!

Sorry David, there was not a crumb left in the tin at the Brunswick. Perhaps it was something to do with the fact that we had heard Tony was on his way to meet up with you in Grantham.
Busy trying to call all the Derby Rangers together but no-one was taking any notice of my 'key-board tapping'
