Burnaston House
For the benefit of those who supported our objection to the re-building of Burnaston House close to NCN R54 at Bearwardcote with access for motor vehicles across the Greenway and where it would have had an adverse effect on the glow worm colony, here is a copy of the final (we hope) document.

Glad to see the Council have placed a value on views of open countryside from the Greenway. Encouragement for our attempts to prevent the track being totally hidden by trees.
And who could have guessed the risk of flooding would have been an asset.

Yes,good to see acknowledgement of the Greenway, but surprising that there is no mention of possible access problems, neither across the path, nor from the A516 into Bannel's Lane.
