This photograph shows Alan Locke and Peter Ford installing one of the first seats that we put up on the Mickleover Greenway. Peter, as Chief Spirit Level Bubble Watcher, seems to have the better job.
Contractors were still on site at the time, so we asked them to dig holes for the seats with their mini JCB excavator. It made the job a lot easier for us, but we had to back fill the holes of course.
Derbyshire County Council supplied the seats from their surplus store (long since depleted) and there were lots of missing parts which we then supplied.
