The request from the Sheffield Rangers for help in clearing a path through a wood on the outskirts of Sheffield has been reasonably successful but it is quite a task and we could use some more volunteers.
The route will become a link between NCN Route 6 and the Trans Penine Trail.
We are marking out the line of the path on Monday 7th September, and the real work happens Tuesday to Friday inclusive, clearing whatever vegetation lies in the way.
Everything, including food and drink, is provided, and you can claim back travelling expenses.
