This event will take place at Long Eaton on Sunday 6 September 2009. There is a new venue this year: the canal towpath alongside Tamworth Rd and also on the fields of Long Eaton School which are immediately adjacent to the canal.
There will also be a Sustrans stand within Long Eaton public library, staffed jointly by the Erewash Valley and the Derby Ranger Groups. The library at Long Eaton is situated at the corner of Tamworth Rd and Broad St, and therefore exactly on Route 6 Derby to Nottingham. The railway station is at the southern end of Tamworth Rd and within easy reach. There are buses from Derby, Nottingham and Ilkeston and Loughborough.
The library will open from 1030 to 1530 on Sunday. If anyone wants to come along and help out or just say hello, you will be very welcome.
