You don't see many of these ...........

........... on the National  Cycle Network, but where NCN Route 54 passes through Darley Abbey, we have a water buffalo in a nearby field.
His name is "Oink" and he not only has a field all to himself, but he also has some videos on You Tube.

Strangely for a water buffalo, he is not keen on water, and when his field was flooded by the adjacent River Derwent a few years ago it was necessary to move him to drier ground.
