Close on 100 cyclists turned out in bright sunshine and unseasonably high temperatures, which was fortunate for those numbering about a dozen who stripped to their underpants (/knickers - for there was one brave lady) and rode along Friargate.
Impassioned speeches were delivered by organisors Dave Clasby (right) and Tony Roelich (below) followed by several other local cycling and clean air celebrities.

Very interesting photographs and well done to all partici'pants'!
Unfortunately there was a little problem of a Derby Cup Match televised at the same time as the protest.
