Space 4 Cycling

Derby Cycling Group's Public Ride in support of the National Space 4 Cycling initiative attracted about 50 cyclists of all denominations for a two lap ride around the City Centre this morning.

Cyclists assembled at Derby's Council House and were addressed by organiser Tony Roelich.

Dave Clasby provided music for the ride with his long wheel base carrier bike which (in the cardboard box) he had a CD player and speakers.  Music While You Ride!

The ride finished outside the Quad building in the Market Place, where the riders were thanked for their attendance by Tony. It is hoped that such rides will persuade our local Councillors to signup as supporting better facilities for cyclists in Derby.
