Sorry for the late confirmation of this ride, (due to difficulties in contacting Ian Keetley), but the full details are as follows.
We meet ian Keetley at Derby Train Station at 10am. He has two new volunteers from the Derby area and they may be coming along. Ian is based in Nottingham and does the Volunteer Group Co-ordination job previously done by Dave Stevens who now looks after the Yorkshire Groups.
From the station we will proceed along R6 to take a look at the Velodrome, returning to Exeter Bridge for a look at the Park Bikeworks in Full Street and along R6 to Chester Green, crossing Stores Road to Racecourse Park and onto the Breadsall Greenway at the Paddock PH. Ride on the Greenway to top of Brookside Road, crossing A608 to join the new extension through to Lime Lane. Possibly call at King's Corner PH for refreshment or carry on down Greenway to do something similar at Morrison's Supermarket.
Return to Train Station by way of Pentagon Island.
See you there then 10am prompt.
