Derby Velodrome

The big event in Derby for 2013 will be the construction of the multi-sports stadium, better known already as the Velodrome. The target for completion is March 2014 .
There is not much to see on site at present as the early work is to move the existing car park which stands on much of the site. Drainage work is well advanced.
The Velodrome will stand to the South of  Derby County's Pride Park Statium so should not be difficult to find.











A is the Velodrome.

B is Pride Park Stadium.

C is the existing Nature Reserve.

D is the River Derwent.

E is the Riverside Path ie Route 6 of the NCN.
