Rare Sighting

There are two reports of a muntjac deer being seen alongside R54 East of Etwall.
Muntjac are the smallest deer, measuring only about two feet long.
Increasing numbers of muntjac are the cause of many road accidents, but not usually seen in these parts.
Anyone know otherwise?

Hope they are good swimmers. There used to be a radio or tele programme by some land owner or other who had some of these on his land. Somewhere in the Alcester area I think.

Alcester is adjacent to National Route 5, which joins Route 54 near Lichfield :-)
