Flood Damage Repair

We now have a date for the commencement of repairs to the Mickleover Greenway after the damage caused by flash flooding in July.
Work will start on Monday 5th November, and to eliminate the possibility of hold-ups to the construction vehicles on the narrow path we have had the Community Payback Team cut down the adjacent undergrowth to form several passing places. You can see that they have made an excellent job of this.
The first one is at the Hackwood Farm Steps and is shown in the photograph below. The damage to the path can be seen on the left side of the picture.
