Npower are proposing to lay a new pipeline to deliver natural gas to to Willington Power Station via various sites in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The pipeline would connect the power station to National Grid's National Gas Transmission System at Yoxall.
Main areas indicated in their announcement:-
North side of Sudbury Road, Yoxall.
Land adjacent to the track to Yoxall Sewage Treatment Works, Bond End, Yoxall.
Track to the North West of Bell House Lane, Anslow, Staffs.
Land on the North East side of Station Road, Rolleston on Dove.
Land at Woodhouses, Yoxall, Burton on Trent.
Land on the North Part of the Trent and Mersey Canal, Barrow upon Trent.
Just possible that some of these works will clash with NCN54 at some stage.
