A new planning application has been lodged with Derbyshire County Council for a Greenway at Hopwell Hall. This has been on the cards for some time, but this route is slightly different from the previous one. It has been brought to prominence by the imminent replacement of Long Horse Bridge and being part of Midshires Way.

Excellent that path is ideal for conversion and is the best route north towards dale abbey and would enable a nice offroad circular tour of derby
