Three Heads are better than one....

The scene at the side of The Grand Union Canal on our way today from Birmingham to Knowle when a small piece of metal penetrated Les's rear wheel.
Half an hour later and after a few choice words were said, but did nothing to prevent us enjoying a delightful BBQ cooked by Phil and Sue's daughter Vicky and husband Scott on the rear lawn of their home.
A very enjoyable day out and many thanks to Phil and Vicky for organising it all.

I should add that the choice words were mainly from me (sorry Vicar), since this was the first ever puncture in my Dahon which has Kevlar tyres, supposedly puntureproof, and it took a great effort by the three of us, to remove the tiny piece of metal that was embedded in the tyre.
Further frustration, since I accidently put the puntured tube back on the wheel, and we had to go through the whole tiresome process twice.
More haste less speed!
Apart from that a most enjoyable ride and a superb welcome when we arrived in Knowle.

Readers who are both observant and literate will have concluded that I do not know how to spell the word "puncture".
This is not true, as I claim to have had more punctures than any other living person, and should therefore at least be able to spell the word. I have over twenty inner tubes currently awaiting repair.
No, the fact is that the "c" button on my keyboard is prone to sticking and needs a bit of help.
ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc there it goes!
