The Community Payback Team have been hard at work over the past few weeks cutting back the hedges on R54 between Sutton Lane Bridge and Heage Lane. This has resulted in large piles of debris which need burning. So attention pyromaniacs, your time has come. Workday on Saturday 5th February 9am onwards.

After the visit of Tony Ambrose last week, we now have another visitor from Sustrans, this time Dave Stevens who is our area volunteer organiser. His visit is on Tuesday 8th February and we will meet him at Derby Station and ride along R54 to Don Amotts for lunch, and then show him the new Hilton Greenway.

Saturday 25th June CTC Bike Show on York Racecourse.
Saturday 9th July Ride from Sinfin on R6 with friends of Sinfin Moor Park followed by BBQ.
Friday 15th July Sustrans Festivol Malverns.

Ride to Subury on R549 for lunch at prison.
Workday to install seat on Hilton Greenway. We hope to fund this with a grant from Action Earth.

Should the "Festivol Mendips" be the "Festivol Malverns"? Mendips are in Somerset, Malverns in Worcs.
