With 5 inches of snow on the ground, there were no cyclists on the Mickleover Greenway this morning, but it was indeed a photographers delight, in spite of the frozen fingers, the icey feet and the sickly camera batteries.
The overnight snow had stuck to the branches of the trees, making for some very picturesque scenery.
Through the pathside vegetation there were lovely views of the surrounding countryside .................
