Breadsall Greenway

There are few vegetation problems on R672 since the verges were cut well back during construction of the path.
However, there is a considerable amount of Ragwort now growing in the area around Breadsall Station as can be seen in the photograph.
We are proposing to uproot the Ragwort together with some Himalayan Balsam on Monday next 2nd August. Start 10am. Finish by 1pm in time for lunch at Morrison's.
Also we will be installing a bird feeding table which has been constucted from surplus timber. This is of substantial proportions, not for the benefit of the birds, but for the frustration of vandals who may try to uproot it.
