Sighting Lakeside in Albert Village?

Did I spot Les,Alan et al (CTC?) on my patch this sunny morn? I was in hard training for my 6mile challenge run for Sports relief on 21st March (Swadlincote Woodlands) when I believe I spotted a familiar bunch of guys pedalling around the lake in Albert Village. It may have been the sun or perhaps the head gear,sunglasses distracting bright red socks but they seemed oblivious to me as they sped by in animated conversation on there way to Conkers or beyond. I was unable to raise a voice in recognition as I was gasping for breath at the time having already covered 5miles at pace. Hope you had a good ride out on what was a beatiful spring morning . Were you able to pick up R63 from my signage around the Conkers Circuit back to CG and Swad?

No it was not I.
At that time I was on my way to Matlock by bus for the Derbyshire County Council Cycle Liaison Meeting. Went early so that I could have a pint and a leisurely lunch in Wetherspoons before the meeting.
I will put you in as an Author on this Blog.
