Breaking Bird News....Twitchers from all over the UK are decending on Albert Village Lake just off Route 63 to view a rare (maybe 1st time) visitor to the UK..the North American Mew Gull or posssibly a Japanese Heinai (thought that was a type of comic strip!) If confirmed will attract many hundreds of Twitchers to South west Leicestershire. If you want to see what a Twitching phenomenon looks like then check it out this Weekend. I will be running the sport relief 6 miler in an altogether more vivid plummage..Scarlet running gear complete with red haired wig and stetson at the nearby Swadlincote Woodlands.
