Things are settling down on the Breadsall Greenway now, but work continues with minor improvements.
A number of information boards have been installed in the station area, looking rather fragile at first sight, but are actually made of steel and have a plastic window. No information in them as yet, but that will come.
Also more fencing work is being done, both along the path and at the A608 Bridge where it is reputed to restrict car parking.
Two conflicting comments regarding car parking. One from a Breadsall resident complaining of cars being parked near to her house and one from a lady who complained that there are not enough car parking facilities. You can't please all of the people all of the time, but more of a matter for DCC than we Rangers.
No further vandalism after the up-rooting of our seat, now more securely fixed to the adjacent fence.
We are making useful contacts with some of the local residents, particularly with the dog walkers, who are on the path more regularly than most.
