Announcing a new blog

I have been toying with the idea of setting up a blog for the newly-created Erewash Valley Rangers group for months but I was not convinced of the need of another blog in the area. However, more recently, I have been persuaded by folk at Sustrans that it might be a useful way of communicating with members of the group, making use of what I've learned during my Derby apprenticeship! There is no doubt that, for your group, it has become an indispensible tool. So I have decided to give it a trial and see what the results will be. Over the last week we have organised three workdays in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and there are already posts about these events (with pics, of course!) I will continue to contribute to this Derby blog for as long as I am allowed to! Equally, I would expect to extend authorship of EVR posts to Derby members.
