Breadsall Greenway

Progress on the Greenway remains rather pedestrian, although more work has been done on the Breadsall Station brickwork this last week and some more fencing has been erected. Also some work has been done on clearing vegetation to expose more of the platform at Racecourse Siding, adjacent to the Paddock PH.

For those interested in such things, the two small rooms to the right of the upper picture are the station toilets and the outlet pipes are evident in the floor.
The lower photograph shows how well the grass is growing on the verges, this being on the slope eastwards and up hill from the Windmill Bridleway Crossing.
