A New Sign

Some months ago Ian Dent suggested that we could do with a sign to put on our seats to indicate who actually made them.
Otherwise the pubic would assume that the seats were provided by the Council.
The suggestion was passed on to Sustrans and we have now received enough of these to put on all our seats.
Not a big job but a workday is planned to do this, initially between Mickleover and Egginton, on Tuesday next 21st July. Meet at Mickleover Station at 10am and we can go for lunch at Don Amotts for about midday.
Another Signing Ride to check things out on Route 54 between Hilton and Uttoxeter on Saturday 8th August, with refreshments at Birds Cafe in Uttoxeter.
Again meet at Mickleover Station at 10am or any point on route and bring money for drink of coffee at Bird's, and possibly a naughty cake (and for Martin a gingerbread man).
Or we could have proper lunch (and a proper drink) at the Boar's Head in Sudbury.
But no gingerbread men there, I'm afraid Martin.
