

This contraption is described as an Underslung Chopper, and has a car size rear wheel conected to the pedals by no less than three stock chains joined end to end.
It has a flywheel to store surplus energy (if there is any), and the inventors name is Johnny Payphone (yes really) 32, of Chicago, so it seems unlikely that we will see him around on our patch of the NCN.
I doubt that it would pass through the "A" frames anyway.

I like it, the front wheel is so far ahead that I would imagine holding the handlebars is virtually unnecessary, just steer by thought. The cars can see you and being so heavy will give you bags of room. As to ‘A’ frames, with weight like that just go down the side! Traffic lights may be a problem though; I don’t see any brakes and putting your foot down would tear your leg off.
