We welcomed two celebrity visitors to our stand at the Big Bike Weekend on Markeaton Park this afternoon.
One was the Mayor of Derby, Councillor Shaun Marshall (the one with the gold chain), and the other was extra-terrestrial Shift Zeebop Wheelie who hails from the Planet Zania.
Both had a ride on our microbike and we have to say that the earthling was the better cyclist.
We understand that bicycles are unknown on the Planet Zania and that there are no Sustrans Routes there ..... yet!

Ignition on, and up he goes,
Cycling off to Outer Space!
I view his trip
With some disdain
For I may never ever see
My little microbike again.
