Sustrans presentation at Etwall well-dressing Sat 16 May 2009
At the end of last year, I had a meeting with the Derbyshire County Council Principal Librarian (South), Rosina Peberdy, at Ilkeston Library, and offered to give a Powerpoint slideshow on Sustrans. She was very enthusiastic about this and said that she would try to sell the idea to her 18 librarians in the south of the county. The first librarian to approach me was from Etwall, and I have agreed to give the presentation this coming Saturday 16 May 2009, as part of the well-dressing festivities. I have also received today a DIY publicity kit from Kate Jones at Sustrans. With the promise of some equipment from DCC, I should be all set to deliver my slideshow from 14:00 to 15:00, although I shall be manning the Sustrans stand from 12:00 to 16:00. The PP presentation is a Sustrans original with several slides taken out and a few of my own added; Derby rangers' activities feature in it! Maybe I'll see some of you there!
