Ian Dent has agreed to take on the job of Publicity Officer for the Derby Ranger Group. He will hold stocks of Sustrans leaflets and distribute them to local Bike Shops, Libraries, Leisure Centres and such.
We have not been very good at local publicity in the past, but have lots of events coming up in the next few months and will have a Sustrans Stand where we can hand out leaflets and give Sustrans some much needed publicity.
Also we have been able to obtain (from HQ at Bristol) a five foot wide Sustrans Banner which we will use on the stand.

Brilliant and well done, Publicity at a local level!
See how much our Derby Sustans group has moved on in the last five years. Les should be very proud of himself and the long suffering group – But if it weren’t for the cake we would not be where we are now.
Many congratulations on your new appointment. Is it a pensionable post and how many years will it be before you qualify?
