Work stops abruptly as Mavis asks if anyone would like a piece of cake.
Such was the scene at today's workday, which saw completion of the surfacing of the new steps and the area around the new seat at the Veteran Tree site at Mickleover.

Ah but the difference is we are not being paid (except in cake that is)
