Nutbrook Trail workdays

The Derby Rangers living on or near the Nutbrook Trail have had a couple of work-mornings so far this autumn (see blog post for 1 Oct 2008 below). Several bags of litter have been filled and a few branches lopped here and there. Some members have spontaneously done more litter-picking on their days off!

The next Nutbrook clearing day will be on Tues 2 Dec, starting at Stanton Lock and moving slowly southwards towards Dockholme Lock. We have jumped from where we last left off, at Straws Bridge, Ilkeston, to the Erewash Canal towpath stretch of the trail because of the need to let British Waterways know well in advance. We expect one of their employees to come to oversee our work.

All Derby Rangers, wherever you live, are welcome to give a hand on these Nutbrook Days! Keep an eye on the blog and on the Rangers website for future events.
